🛡 Safeguard the Children
A Commitment to Protection, Awareness, and Action
The Safeguard the Children program is part of a nationwide effort initiated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to ensure the safety of all children, youth, and vulnerable adults within the Church’s care.
At our parish and school:
- A Safeguard the Children Committee oversees the implementation of protection policies
- The program includes age-appropriate curriculum for students
- It reinforces safe practices, adult awareness, and reporting procedures
- All efforts are aligned with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People
